TIME OF YOUR LIFE /// LYRICS

EVERYTIME I THINK ABOUT YOU
YEAH YOU KNOW IT COMES IN TWO
ALL OUR FUNNY CONVERSATIONS
AND THE TIMES THAT YOU SPEAK FROM YOUR SOUL
MAYBE NOW YOU’LL FINALLY REALISE
THAT LOVE IS FOREVER
MAYBE NOW YOU’LL SOMEHOW REMEMBER
YOU WERE HAVING THE TIME OF YOUR LIFE

IN YOUR OWN TIME

WHILE THE RATS ALL RAN STRAIGHT PAST YOU
YOU TOOK FOREVER
AND YOU CONVINCED YOURSELF
YOU AIN’T NOTHING
CAUSE YOU CAN’T STAND ON YOUR OWN TWO FEET
THERE’S A LINE IN THE SAND
THERE’S A STAR UP AHEAD
AND IT’S CALLING OUT TO YOU
TAKE A BREAK TAKE YOUR TIME
TAKE A LOOK DEEP INSIDE
AND TAKE A WALK OUTSIDE

IN YOUR OWN TIME

IN YOUR OWN TIME

GET UP BABY!
GET UP BABY DOLL!
GET UP BABY!
GET UP BABY DOLL!

DO DO YOU REMEMBER?
AS A CHILD YOU WERE WILD
AND YOU BELIEVED IN YOURSELF

KILLER LIVE REVIEW FROM THE BAD//DREEMS SHOW!

Screen Shot 2016-01-04 at 4.07.48 PM.png

Playing with one of our favourite Australian bands BAD//DREEMS was a 2015 highlight for us. So we were pretty chuffed about getting a cool live review for the show thanks to the cool cats at THE MUSIC.

BAD /// DREEMS, CAPTAIN COOK HOTEL, SYDNEY 13.11.2015
Self-described soul-punks Fait Accompli went on the attack with a frayed set that seemed to capture chaos in a Tupperware container. It was hard to pin down their sound, and it was a high tension performance that felt loose and unpredictable in a good way. They matched their sound with individual visual styles that seemed to borrow from any number of influences, and made for a great collective stage presence. Hats off to Skarlett Saramore on sticks, whose frantic patterns were relentless and potent.
